For a child

I made this card for a little boy who is soon to be 5. I think I got the colours ok for a boy but now not sure if it is a little too young for him? Anyway, I'd like to enter it into the challenge on Ooh La La Creations which this week is "For a child". I used  Popcorn the Bear sampler cdrom for the images and the dotty paper was from my snippets box, so I'm off to show Miss Di and all the snippet gals in the snippet playground #118 too.

Use those dies

The challenge on Allsorts this week is "Use those dies". Well I just got all of the new dies from Tonic in a rash moment, plus one from an earlier release "butterfly princess". It is this die that I have combined with the other half of one of the new dies in the circle. I then used the corner dies to cut into the pre cut card blank and then to make the brackets on either side. I just love these new dies, now I need the time to be able to play with them!

I found out today that my dresser card using up some stickers has won me second prize at Quirky crafts - so pleased, and a guest designer spot - how exciting!

Also welcome to yet another new follower - thanks so much.

CAS for a special lady

Here is the card for OH Mother for Mothering Sunday. Unfortunately the only stamp I have is the American version of Mum, but hopefully with her eyesight she won't realise that! Or should I make that the eyesight of the OH as when I used this stamp at Christmas he gave the card to his son and partner in error! Moving on....
I've used the TH stamp and die set to create this card and kept it very simple. Hopefully it will meet with approval.
As I've kept it CAS I'm entering it into the CAS challenge on Charisma Cardz challenge and
Crazy 4 challenges - shake your thing (anything goes!)
Ooh la la creations challenge- special lady

March Rudolph Day

I've had to go back in time with the PC and hopefully now cured my problems, it was getting so that I thought I would just not bother with any of it anymore - so much wasted time!
Anyway, just before Christmas I got a new set of stamps from Clearly Besotted but I never got time to use them. So, here they are, the snowglobe and various stamps to put inside., for the second card I used a SU sentiment.
I'm entering these into Sarn's Rudolph day challenge.

Hello to my two new followers too.

All about the boy - vintage

This post has been a long task, I'm not sure if it's blogger or my PC but it's taken ages and now trying to do from my ipad.
I've used PB stamps for the image and sentiment and stamped with sepia versaink then embossed with clear detail powder. The paper is from a Kanban pad which echoed the swirls on the car image.
I'd like to enter it unto Male Room challenge - vintage and Allsorts  challenge - all about the boy.

mid month reminder for "So sweet" at Penny Black & More

Time for the mid month reminder for our challenge "So sweet" over at Penny Black & More. You can interpret the challenge any way you want, for my mid month DT card I've gone with cake. I've used PB 4318K Cupcake strut and a sentiment from 30-103 wishes.... I paper pieced the image to match the papers on the card and those for the die cut cupcake which is from Marianne. The ornate background die was free with the last issue of tattered lace magazine, I liked it so much I decided to use it inside the card too with a sentiment from a Forever friends stamp set.
Thanks for looking, it would be great to see how you interpret the theme this month. Just remember no digis and the focus of the card needs to be stamped.

Dresser card

I'm on a bit of a mission to try and use up stickers and peel offs - this could take some time! Anyway, I made this card using a dresser die cut and then some stamps from a Clare Curd set and the sentiment at the top is from SU. Then I found it totally fits a challenge on Quirky Crafts challenge, so that's where I am entering it. They want to see Cupboards, shelves or dressers!

Dress snippets

I've only got 71 mins before the snippets playground gates shut for week 115 - better get a move on. I've been working away all week in the North west, got to spend some time in Liverpool which I always enjoy. So, my blog and crafting has been neglected. I made this card before I went away, but didn't get time to post it.
I used some Debbi Moore papers I printed for a card ages ago (years probably) and the J Sheen patchwork die to cut the shapes. A Miss Di commented on the last card I used these on, I must have patience - I don't but can do in small doses!
The stamp is from Dylusions and I wanted to paper piece it since I got it but this is the first time its seen ink. The sentiments are from a Debbi Moore stamp set.
Off to wait for my Ocado shop now, last time he was 30mins outside the 2 hour slot. But when he turned up he was on his first day on his own, then he got lost and couldn't find my house, I couldn't be annoyed with him as he was so apologetic.
I'd also like to enter the card into
the girls, girls, girls challenge at Cute card Thursday
pretty in pink challenge at Allsorts

Just for me

I had a day off today as we went to see Miranda Hart last night and then I had British Gas coming for my yearly service today. Well Miranda was great, but British Gas have condemned my gas fire! I somehow feel like it's my fault which is silly - so now to sort out a new fire. As I don't use it very much I think I might go over to an electric one.
So, I managed some crafty time this afternoon and here is what I came up with. Using PTI papers and ribbon, my new ribbon template from Craftwork cards, a B Line stamp called Sharon and a sentiment from a See D's..
This is just the sort of card I would love to receive, as most of you know I am a bit of a fashionista and so I am entering it into the Flonz vintage stamping challenge which is for a card you would like to receive.
As I went for lots of pretty pink I am also entering it into
Stamping Sensations challenge - pretty in pink
Papertake weekly  challenge - anything goes
Cute Card Thursday challenge - what a gem (all the flowers have gems at their centres)
That Craft Place challenge - anything goes

That stamp again - with snippets!

Yes, it's that stamp again, the one I used for the two cards in my previous post. This time I've used a patchwork signature die from Joanna Sheen using the snippets from the cards. After I bought the patchwork templates as seen in the Snippets playground, I then found a set of patchwork dies and thought they would be perfect for snippets, so here is my first attempt. The PB stamp is coloured with promarkers with a flex marker outlining the image.
Off to the playground with my card, I got featured in the playground by Miss Di last week.
I'd also like to enter it into the challenge at I love Promarkers - one for the girls.

Penny Black & More - So sweet challenge

It's time for a new challenge over on Penny Black & More and this month we have "So Sweet" this could be an image or maybe something sweet to eat. For my DT card I've used one of the new PB stamps "Bunny Kisses" and made an Easter card. But you don't have to limit it to easter - for my next card I paper pieced and put hearts in her basket and on her clothing to make a birthday card.

We'd love to see how you interpret the theme this month - so pop over and join us and see all the other fabulous inspiration from my teamies. As always we have fantastic prizes on offer too.
