LIM week 237 - Congratulations

When I saw that the theme on Less is More this week is "Congratulations" I wasn't sure what I was going to do.

I knew I had this Spellbinders sentiment die and my first thought was to cut it and use against a brushed ink background. However, the brushos were calling yet again! The candle is a die from Tattered Lace. I made the background on watercolour paper and then cut it out with a rectangle and circle die, mounted it onto the card and then added some extra brushos on the corners. The sentiment is cut from green mirri card, as my first cut with green card didn't show up too well.

I had a few days away this week in Lincolnshire with a friend of mine.  One of the places I took her was The Village Church Farm in Skegness. Now this is not what you would usually associate with Skegness.......
It was a wonderful place and we had a lovely morning there looking around, plus it was wheelchair friendly in the main. Look what I found in one of the rooms - that is an old machine!
I also managed to track down a couple of craft shops too.

I love your use of brushos, I really must get mine out and have a go!,
I was in Lincolnshire last week and will be back again at the end of this week - my family are all still there, I'm the only one to have left!!

Lovely card - I'm ignorant when it comes to Brushos but I hear about them a lot lately - must investigate further. If they produce results like yours, they must be worthwhile lol! Stunning!
