Kraft and blue

I have had elements of a card on my desk for a good few weeks now, ready to enter the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge. Each week comes and I find I've missed the boat - but my elements still fit in some way. Except for this week - I just had to put those bits and pieces to one side and start afresh because the challenge involves Kraft paper and that wasn't in any of the ideas I had previously.
I've actually used Cake Crumb from SU as I don't have any Kraft - so hopefully that is ok.

For my first card I just scored a piece of the card then using the Lil Inker die cut out the sentiment and then cut again from blue card which I inserted into the die. So this card also fits the challenge on Simon Says - No Designer paper.

As I was on a role, I did a second card. This time the brusho background was on my desk and was going to have a different treatment, but I decided to see what the card looked like on the blank space I created used a post it whilst making the brusho background. This time I have used the same technique but not filled all of the die in. The candles are a die from Tattered lace.
