Stencil cards

I've been meaning to enter the Clarity challenge since it began! Usually I make a card and find that I have missed the deadline. Well finally I've made it - just. This month the challenge is stencils. I used a Clarity fashion stencil and my gelli plate to create the background. I then used the stencil as a template to cut out the image and stamped over it. I then took the feminine basque stamp and masked out the basque, using just the wording for the background. I stamped and cut out the handbag to hang from her arm. I mounted it onto black card and then took a fineliner in purple to squiggle around the card.

While I was making this card I noticed that the Allsorts theme this week is Purple/orange/black - all or any two colours. So here is another take on the card using purple and black for the Allsorts challenge. This time I made an embossed frame to cover the gelli plate work.
