Anything Christmas at Penny Black & More

Well if you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, this is the perfect time to begin with our new challenge at Penny Black & More challenge- Anything Christmas (must include stamping as the focal point).

For my DT card I made a start on the special cards with this Grand daughter card. I love this image which one of my PB & More teamies used last year, and I just had to have it.

I created a background using a vaseline emboss resist with a snowlfake stencil. Unlike an embossing powder resist this leaves you with a nice flat surface for stamping. I used Dashing through Snow stamped with blue ink and clear embossing powder. I then used Cosmic shimmer inks to paint the tree. I used a circle die to cut around the image.

I folded a piece of snowfall acetate in half and attached my image with a snowflake brad. I cut some additional snowflakes from burnished silver card and the sentiment. The Happy Christmas is cut from glitter card.

I looked forward to seeing your creations. Remember please no digis.

Great idea using the acetate Lynn, it gives the appearance of looking out at the snowy scene through a window.

Hope you have a good Sunday.
