LIM week 252 - Fruit

When I saw the Less is More challenge was fruit this week I wasn't sure I had anything that fitted. However, I remembered I have this Clarity Members stamp from a few years ago, which has never seen ink. So I got it out and then was still stumped. Luckily I found this lovely Emerson sentiment from a Creative Expressions stamp set of garden verses.

I inked through a Clever cut aperture with some TH spiced marmalade and then also applied to another piece of card, from which I used a spellbinder die to cut out the sentiment. I used some of the TH ink with water to colour the pears and then a promarker for the leaves.

Thanks for looking.

That is clever! I like the idea of inking thru the aperture...and the quote is perfect with this.

Lovely card, Lynne.
