Creative Expressions Saturday - Counterpane glitter

Good morning everyone. Here is my second DT creation for Creative Expressions. The stencil I have used is called Counterpane. It reminds me of when I said to someone at work that I found it so funny in one of Bill Bryson's books that he talked about not knowing what a counterpane was when he first came to England. To which she replied "I don't know what one is either". Quick straw poll and no one under 50 knew what one was - do you?

Anyway, back to the card. This is the inside for which I used Phill Martin's insert paper pad to complement the paper from his pad that I used on the front of the card.
I used CE flake and glitter glue and spread it through the counterpane stencil. Then I took the stencil away and rubbed cosmic shimmer polished silk glitter over the paper and brushed away the excess.
I then created a sentiment frame using Sue Wilson refined rectangular frame die. I also put a border around using the part of the labyrinth die set. The finishing touch are some pearls cut from CE mini pearl swirls.

Products used:-
Phill Martin Graceful Butterflies and dragonflies paper pad and coordinating insert pad
That special touch "counterpane" stencil
Cosmic shimmer polished silk glitter in lilac
CE mini pearl swirls
Sue Wilson Frames and tags refined rectangular frame and diagonals -labyrinth.
