Poppy card Mk II

After I made the Poppy card here the other day I felt it could be improved upon. So I changed the colour of the poppies and this time I used one of Ken Oliver's watercolour cards to do the stencilling and stamping onto.

Just like the last time I did this card, I stamped several images of the poppies and decoupaged parts of the flowers, but you can't see it in the photo too well.

Luckily I took the photo before the rain we have today. I have been in a fused glass workshop all day with no windows so it was a bit of a surprise to come out to a downpour here. All the pieces we made have to go into a kiln so it will be a week before I get my finished pieces back.

I'm entering this card into the Anything goes challenge at Stamping Sensations.

This is gorgeous! I love the stitched edges around that water coloured background (which is beautiful too).
Those poppies are so lovely and I am awed by all that perfect fussy cutting!!!

That's gorgeous, Lynn! I love the blue poppies, and they contrast beautifully with the background. Thanks for sharing it with us at Stamping Sensations.
