January 2017 Rudolph Day

It's time for the first challenge of 2017 for Rudolph Day over at ScrappyMo's Blog. Although I had my card ready, I admit to forgetting it was today! But I'm here now.

I used a Clarity tree stamp and some free stamps from a magazine to create my scene. I coloured the stag with some vintage Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Rather than mat and layer I cut the image out with a TL die to frame it. Need to keep those layers down for postage costs!

There is a perfect 'cold' feel to your blue scene, and the coloured stags is just right to give it a focus. Lovely. Kate x

Hi Lynn, Don't you go blaming me for your crafty spending ;). This is a gorgeous card and the Deer looks really quite dramatic against the gentle colour of the trees in the background, it's a fabulous little stamp isn't it. I love the moonlit treescape that you've created, it's right up my street, I love it! Many thanks for all of your good wishes, they are very much appreciated. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Love this beautiful deer in his winter brown coat, against the frosty iciness of the blue winter scenery. Great work on creating such a lovely card. TFS & Hugs
