Embossing at Ooh La La Challenge blog

Our challenge today at ooh La La challenge blog is "embossing" and has been chosen by my teamie Julie.
There are so many ways to emboss and I decided for my DT card to do some heat embossing over an image from the cdrom The Paula Oakley Collection.

Here is the card from a different angle to capture the embossing a little more clearly. I stamped my Penny Black image and then used ivory embossing powder. With a clear wink of stella pen over the embossing to highlight it more. The bow is also an image from the same cdrom. I then mounted it onto a TL diecut from black gloss card.

I'd love to see how you interpret the embossing challenge - look forward to seeing you over on the blog, where you can as always find wonderful inspiration from the rest of the DT.

What a gorgeous card, such a lovely idea embossing over the image. I never think of overstamping images like that but it makes a wonderful card.

Using the ivory embossing powder was inspired it's soft against the image and doesn't overpower it the way black embossing might have, love your card.
This is so beautiful, love your embossing and the ribbon, and of course everything else about this card.
