Autumn and a mystery!

Autumn seems to be a common theme on challenges at the moment. I made this card using basic grey papers and an Anya stamp which I used a Memento "Paris Dusk" stamp pad for, as a change from black, and then coloured with my new promarkers. I have only got skin tones and pastels sets at the moment. I found them on Joanna Sheen with free P&P - think I will be going back for some more!

Anyway - I think this card fits the autumn theme on Crafty Calendar , By the Cute and girly , One stop Craft challenge and also the inspiration photo on C.R.A.F.T. challenge that Suzi used for the challenge this week.

Now to my mystery! I bought this stencil earlier this year and cannot figure out what the large loop shape in the centre is supposed to be - neither can anyone else I know crafty or otherwise! Can you help??? All comments gratefully received as this is driving me crazy.

Great card, the colours are great and the different ink makes a pleasant change. Thanks for joining us for our first challenge.
Also I have had a look at your template and have no idea what that extra piece is for, so hope someone else can help you.

Beautiful card, the papers are so elegant, could the shape possibly be a "train" for the dress beside it? Just a thought.. Ruth-Crafty Calendar Challenges

Gorgeous card, wonderful autumn colours and details, beautiful image too. I don't know what the odd shape is for but I would use it has a petals for flower or even for layering a skirt.

Hi Linby

Sorry but I am a bit slow in commenting as I have been away for two weeks and only just returned.

Your card is lovely - it features such gorgeous papers and a great image (Anya all ready with her umbrella!) You have coloured your image perfectly.

Thank you for taking part in the very first "By the Cute & Girly" challenge. I hope you play along again next month.

Love Jules xx
