days 296 and 298 on 365 cards

Ok I lied - that wasn't my last Christmas card the other day! You might remember me saying that I had a broken leaf punch and I wanted to make a wreath out of the leaves (I CASED the idea from Fabric Butterfly's blog). Well day 296 on 365 cards is "make a wreath" so I decided to go for it. Pleased with the result to which I added some punched flowers raised on tiny pads and added some bling to them. Then made a faux bow from sticky ribbon. Mounted an emblishment in the centre with some bling to hide the hole!

I haven't played at 365 for such a long time - so when I saw there was only one entry for the next challenge I thought I would give them some company LOL!

Day 298 is "running with circles" and the challenge is to include at least 10 circles on your card. I hope the footballs count! I've used a stamp set from the Dandelion range - this is onion. Coloured with marvey pens. Nice male card to have in my stash.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my followers and visitors.

I know what you mean about the Tapestry Stamp sets, it's difficult to envisage being able to make something sensible out of little stamps that you have to place yourself. It's much easier to buy a bigger stamp that does the placing for you.

I bought them to do backgrounds with, and unsurprisingly didn't have the courage to try, but maybe I will now I've done the wreath!
