WOYWW 21.4

Wednesday came around so fast that some of the things on here are still there from last week. You may spot a spa nail kit - what would that be doing on a craft desk?? Well, after Sista Susie Sugar showed us her distressing tool last week I got to thinking of a cheaper alternative and this was it! I have distressed the Tilda that you can see just to check if it worked, and it did.  There is a stamped image of a victorian house I just got and coloured in, and so timely as my Australian friend is moving house so this is waiting to go on a card for her. I have some new Penny Black stamps - only really wanted the mouse in the choc box, but he came as part of a set, searched everywhere for him on his own! Got them from the US though as part of another order and even with the not so good exchange rate they were still cheaper than UK prices. You might want to know what is in that big box? Well the other week I was searching for something and came across a subscription offer to a cardmaking mag and the free gift was this set from Stampin up, called Simply Sent. I took the picture below before I assembled the stamps, you can see them in the centre of the desk.
I have a busy Wednesday after work so may not get around to everyone, but I will try.

Great idea for the distressing. I'm sure we all have things we have been given and used only once that could be put to other uses.....how about a foot spa? :-)

I love the house image you have on your desk and the way you have coloured it. The nail kit is a good idea for distressing, I hope you don't use it on your nails again though! About my computer, I have a mouse on the keyboard but also have a proper mouse, I think the one attached to the keyboard would drive me mad! Have a great week! Tracey x

Love the free SU set, hope the mag was worth it. Where did you get you PB's, try Dick (http://www.pbstamps.com/Welcome.htm), he's got 3500 hundred PB stamps!! Great idea on the tool too, we're such a resourceful lot, anything to save a few pennies to put towards the next big stash buy!!

I keep getting caught with tax and charges so buying from the US with a poor exchange rate is not really worth it ....I feel that once caught you are flagged and it keeps happening ....BOO Hoo
