Athenaeum hotel which is it's feature.
We started with sandwiches and had two servings before moving onto the orange blossom scones with jam, lemon curd cream and clotted cream. Then we had cakes (all those aren't mine only the violet cupcake and the champagne jelly!). then we had toasted crumpets and butter followed by our champagne as we are both too sensible to have it on an empty stomach. We enjoyed it so much we have decided to do it again in December when it is my birthday but choose a different hotel (probably try them all eventually!).
