What's on your workdesk Wednesday 2011

If you are new to WOYWW then pop over to Julia at The Stamping Ground and check it out.
I've added a little sentiment to my desk which I've enlarged below - I thought it said it all!
My desk this week is full of new beginnings and resolutions. My wax gun - still not used it but aim to soon. A candle, still not decorated but will be. Torsos to decorate and new embossing folders to use. I've also got my new glass mat which Julia said I had to have (honest just check her blog) and I am loving it. I have left a scratch on it already though - boo hoo using my ceramic knife.
I'll be round to your desk soon;)

All neat and tidy there Lyn - good start to the year but we need to see action! craftiness! mess! - lol - not that there is any of that in my house. Feeling better today and even ventured out when the sun was shining - just hope my crafting urges return soon! Have a good week!

Lots of lovely stuff to ogle at today!
What's a wax gun and how do you use one?
I love your banners... who needs therapy?!!
We're all too busy!
I wouldn't be without my glass mat... they're the best ever!
Happy New Year!

Ooo look, you have the same white shelf unit from Ikea; I just don't have the fancy bit at the top. It's perfect for crafty bits isn't it?

I see Julia's little piece on glass mats convinced you, I'm tempted to get one too :-)

That shelf unit is gorgeous, and I love your "create" and the new little banner: so true! Hoping I can find some creative inspiration on those torsos when you get going. I have three in a bag, and they sit looking smugly at me, but as yet I have no ideas. If you decide to embed tissue on that candle, watch your fingers (she says from bitter experience!).

Lovely workspace!! Ok, what's a wax gun and why do we need a glass mat? I have one but rarely use it.

Loving your desk my love... Happy New Year to you Lynn. Hope you are well.

I zoomed in to have a right good nose - and couldn't make out what your new embossing folder was - plus - i'm intrigued as to what a wax gun does...

Oh, looks like fun times ahead! I saw a sentiment recently, wish I could find it but your banner reminded me. It was something like "Stamping. When the therapy and the illness are the same." Happy 2011!

Oh I need to print that banner out in three feet high letters and paste it to the walls of my craft room!! And I also agree with Deb that it's only just cheaper than therapy, as can be evidenced by yet more new stuff on your desk, lol!!

I love the sign...it's definitely true...thnk of all the money you ave for stamps if you don't pay a trick cyclist!

What a lovely tidy desk you have there - love that saying about a hobby being cheaper than therapy - must show that to my other half! love the look of those dress stamps on the left too and I also love your finished torsos - lots to love here! thanks for sharing and commenting on my blog too.

I'm totally impressed with your desk and the saying above it is PERFECT, too. I like how everything is within reach, yet uncluttered. Looks like you are going to be busy if you plan to get all those projects finished up soon. Sorry I'm late getting here. I will try to make it by sooner next week (number 16).

Bleubeard and Elizabeth said...

I forgot to mention, I thought those glass mats didn't (or at least weren't supposed to) scratch. Sorry to hear about yours.

So many wonderful stamps! Great little space to CREATE in :) Love the big letters on the shelf!
