LIM week 12- off centre

After visiting a few of the Less is More "limettes" I noticed how many of them print direct to card, so I thought I would give it a go. However, silly me went to great pains to get it all lined up and then printed it on the left of the card instead of the right!!!!!!! So, this is why you see before you a layered card, 'cause I don't do "going in the bin" LOL!
I've used Pink Petticoat images and then created the text on the PC. The background polka dots were from Craftwork cards sometime ago.

Yesterday I went to Sir Stampalot for a demo Brenda was giving. I've long been an admirer of her lovely work so I felt the 1.5 hour drive would be worth it. She didn't disappoint and everyone I met was so lovely, oh and I also managed to do a little retail therapy whilst there LOL! So many ideas going round in my head now.

Hi Linby,
I'm with you about the using up of 'miscalculations' too! I applaud you for layering your card... it's not one layer week after all! Cute images and a perfect sentiment make for a really cute card!
Thanks for your kind words!

Oh Linby, you made me laugh with the printing saga! It is exactly what I do, I always put the paper in the printer the wrong way round or upside down!!
Your card is fab, and I'm so envious of your trip to Sir Stampalot! So glad you had a lovely time,
Love Sarita xx

What a terrific card, love the sentiment. And I definitely congrats on beating a mistake. :-) How lucky are you to attend one of Brenda's demo's. I wish...but it's just a little more than a 1.5 hour drive for me.

Fab card Linby, love the little bags. Printing directly onto cards takes some getting used to ... I always run a piece of paper through first on draft setting so I'm sure it's all lined up then use that as rough paper in the craft room afterwards.
I was at Sir Stampalot last Thurs....it's like stamp heaven isn't it :)

Lovely card. I've used the "run it through the printer" method too. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't well done for not throwing it away. Layering worked a treat.

I am afraid printers and me dont get on!! I can print a standard letter, email etc. but cant get my head round virtually looking at a screen and making the words go in the right place!

A great card Linby. Love the PP images. I gotta admit it took a bit of getting my head round printing onto card - takes a bit of practise. Sue.x
