Fleur de Pavot

I've made this card using the new set of poppy stamps from Inkylicious. I just love poppies (can't you tell by my blog background LOL!) and when I sat down to make a poppy card it was hard to chose which poppy stamp to use. A poppy stamp I have wanted for ages is finally back in stock, so I have also ordered another one! For this card I've used SU cardstock in always artichoke, real red and so saffron. The ribbon is A Griffin but I thought it toned well.
I'd like to enter this card into
Sir Stampalot-photo inspiration
The Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT challenge - use red
As I said it was hard to chose which stamp to use, so I made another card.
I've paper pieced the poppy head in real red and the leaves in the now retired gable green. Stamped directly onto a pale pearlescent green card.

Hi Lynn,
These are beautifully done. I love the poppy but the first card has to be my favourite because the flowers look so delicate. Gorgeous work.

I love poppies and was so pleased to say so many on the roadside on our recent visit Essex. Your cards are so pretty Lynn and I particularly love the edging on the top card.

With you on the poppies Linby, but there I figure everyone guessed that from the photo, I'm always so transparent !

Both card are beautiful, can't choose a favourtire as I love style of the first one but am also a fan of paper piecing.

Thank you for joining us at Stampalot Challenge this month and good luck.
