But I thought I would try and utilise the how card base.</p><p>The front was relatively easy with a rectangle cut from some Anna Griffin papers I had and the co-ordinating paper for the butterfly, which inlaid into the rectangle. I thought another die from this CRM inspired Apple Blossom die cut range would fill the space down the side. I bought the set for the robin - still not used the robins as this little nuthatch appealed to me for a little "hello" card. I added some stamps from another AALL & Create set and then lightly stencilled the background. I used pencils to colour the bird and blended with water. The little "hello" is from Julie Hickey pre printed.</p><p style="background-color: white; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px;">We have two prizes, a Bundle <a href="https://juliawattscrafts.co.uk/collections/fairy-hugs" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; color: #b23bc6; text-decoration-line: none;">Fairy Hugs</a> stamps and <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; color: #b23bc6; text-decoration-line: none;">AALL and Create</a> A5 stencil</p><div style="background-color: white; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq4BhXuiihmVmizX1bK4G1AaOeeFTKTcyyNvimRAdgRUjAHGaEVeho-ilCXAupEacPF0UsFikq-YgrNrxvKAj-K83sosXsyfrTTqFhJjtEVH73emvx2-iXESqh9m_60allQfY3FFnwvMfkhKbwo-J6dNakXLIaViuCTstsRxxBy5zBU76dYVTJCZX1/s2871/DA7230DF-7776-4A02-8B64-E0C90E7367D2_1_201_a.jpeg" style="background: transparent; color: #b23bc6; text-decoration-line: none;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq4BhXuiihmVmizX1bK4G1AaOeeFTKTcyyNvimRAdgRUjAHGaEVeho-ilCXAupEacPF0UsFikq-YgrNrxvKAj-K83sosXsyfrTTqFhJjtEVH73emvx2-iXESqh9m_60allQfY3FFnwvMfkhKbwo-J6dNakXLIaViuCTstsRxxBy5zBU76dYVTJCZX1/w320-h290/DA7230DF-7776-4A02-8B64-E0C90E7367D2_1_201_a.jpeg" style="border: 0px; height: auto; max-width: 100%;" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_lZWr4VxQYHz2ZwrM1ufTedbdltLvt4e4i9Bh17XlgwDZ2fi8tbXL0KFEnZlPVImNpFnFpFAzglf2-otoFgNr3YqfEr8KFcfDOmbf2D0scoJh3xg_N1sBATVRkpIfrGQFjTT6K4bavZUaMC4SAQc38EnfPbpQ_IppwRtd-Sr7rPOn-LldJCgFpa5c9z_Q/s600/17050_27503.jpg" style="background: transparent; color: #b23bc6; text-decoration-line: none;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_lZWr4VxQYHz2ZwrM1ufTedbdltLvt4e4i9Bh17XlgwDZ2fi8tbXL0KFEnZlPVImNpFnFpFAzglf2-otoFgNr3YqfEr8KFcfDOmbf2D0scoJh3xg_N1sBATVRkpIfrGQFjTT6K4bavZUaMC4SAQc38EnfPbpQ_IppwRtd-Sr7rPOn-LldJCgFpa5c9z_Q/w214-h320/17050_27503.jpg" style="border: 0px; height: auto; max-width: 100%;" /></a></div>Linbyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12919078121818462776noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-828332914047469898.post-35913713664067363892024-02-17T21:45:00.020+13:452024-02-17T21:45:00.137+13:45Hand drawn mandala<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb-ddGqoavV0iSUzIpF_zrfW1-cuVwc9xiG3Tc8-yX_uMe5n6hjNJi6Yv1jrBqU08pFuKafZU47S9qFT9Fedb1wgM-vxgBV1oH6X32Y78lmnFM1IHjGhU765e40RJmlbTWzzRa6vkBXCU_pWrXC7gdSv9OIOBBRNpEBUUpqjTQ2x4EOwod7LbzdmCgY10/s784/mandala%20pinks.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="784" data-original-width="767" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb-ddGqoavV0iSUzIpF_zrfW1-cuVwc9xiG3Tc8-yX_uMe5n6hjNJi6Yv1jrBqU08pFuKafZU47S9qFT9Fedb1wgM-vxgBV1oH6X32Y78lmnFM1IHjGhU765e40RJmlbTWzzRa6vkBXCU_pWrXC7gdSv9OIOBBRNpEBUUpqjTQ2x4EOwod7LbzdmCgY10/w626-h640/mandala%20pinks.JPG" width="626" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>Dena is our host this week at <a href="https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Allsorts challenge</a> and she's chosen an optional theme of "use pink" or of course you can go with "anything goes". </p><p>I drew this mandala on my ipad using the procreate app. It's so easy to do them as you can set it up to mirror what you draw, so you only actually draw part of the design.
