LIM week 119 - one layer, coloured blank
I didn't intend to be away from blogging or crafting for quite this long. See my post below about my absence and holiday to California. I think my mojo and get up and go was left on the plane! I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to regain any enthusiasm for crafting. On top of that I managed to pull my back in a spot of Bank Holiday gardening, so after a week of suffering I decided it was time to go to the chiropractor yesterday. Hopefully I will now be on the mend.
So, I've had a go at the challenge on Less is More - which this week is a coloured card blank. First up is a car from Pilkington stamps. Stamped using TH Black soot which I then also daubed around the car trying to give it that "garage" feel. I added some bundled sage to the car itself. Finished with a SU sentiment stamp.
The next one is a Michael Powell stamp which looks lovely on the packaging, but I found a bit daunting when I opened it. So thought it ideal for a first outing, as I didn't even need to colour it in. Stamped in Memento Paris dusk, I then took a paint brush and pull some of the colour to give an illusion of a skyline.
Lastly, to give my newest stamp an outing and to use one of my gold spellbinders,I did this card. I've used the spellbinder to make the actual card, with bundled sage on the edges.
Thanks for looking, I am going to try and get back in the swing of commenting. Maybe a cup of tea first.........
