One last Christmas Card

I'm sharing one last Christmas card for 2016. I made this for a friend who loves foxes and she has some fox themed presents to match. She doesn't blog so I know I am safe with the present info!

I want to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and thanks for visiting my blog this year.

I'm entering this card into the Simon Says National Christmas Card Day competition.

Christmas tag snippets

A few of my tags I made this year for presents. They are all from snippets from my draw, in fact the circle ones I only had to emboss and mount onto a circle cut from the white paper snippet box.

I used a die from this set seen below from Swedish House Crafts which I've found really useful. Don't forget if you quote my code FROMSANTALINBY you can get 10% discount during December.

Roxstamps - Nesting Round Dies - Pierced

My other new purchase is a TH tree die which I just love and used on a couple of the tags. When the OH saw the tags he was amazed - he thought I was just going to cut up old Christmas cards!!! - really?

I'm off to the Snippets Playground to share and partake in any Christmas spirit that Parsnip has on the go.

Twas the night before Christmas

I've had my Makey Bakey Christmas cd out for this card. The Challenge at CD Sunday is Twas the Night Before Christmas - hopefully this fits the challenge. I just love the look on that Robin's face! I've used printed elements from the cdrom with die cuts from mirri card and a little bit of glitter on the snow.

I've just found this in Sainsbury's - not seen it anywhere else. I'm so delighted with it as it brings back so many memories of Christmas past. If only they still did boxes of Babycham liquers!

Mid month reminder - Penny Black & More challenge

I've just popped on to remind you about our challenge at Penny Black & More where we are looking for black and white plus one colour cards.

For my DT card I've used the Silhouettes stamp set from Penny Black and the sentiment is from a PB set called Crazy in Love. I used Pebeo silver gilding wax over the die cuts for my colour and the sentiment is embossed in CE silver detail powder.

Thanks for looking and I do hope you can find time to join us in the challenge.

Christmas @ The Male Room Challenge

A few different stamp makes combined on this card. I coloured the trees with a Spectrum Noir glitter pen. This was actually a gelli plate card from my monthly Clarity class to begin with, but the image didn't show up so I utilised it by putting the fox stamp on instead!

I'm entering this into the Male Room Challenge for  Christmas/December Celebrations/winter wishes which is running for the month of December.

LIM week 306 - one layer and outlines

I finally got to use my lovely new Penny Black stamp (courtesy of the Snippets playground) for this card. I did a resist technique using Pan pastels through a Clever cut aperture. Finished with a Phill Martin sentiment stamp.

I forgot to share photos of the lovely setting I had for my afternoon tea last week at Thoresby Hall - so here are a few pictures.

I'm entering my card into the Less is More challenge for a one layer card using outlines.

Clarity Christmas

These are some of the cards I made for the ladies at my monthly Clarity workshop. I used Kraft card and a spellbinder bauble die for the outline. All the stamps used are Clarity. I'm entering them into the Clarity Stamp challenge which is for Carol singing and Christmas Joy - hopefully they fit the bill.

CAS @ Allsorts

I've made this card using Creative expressions dies and Cosmic shimmer glitter flakes. I die cut the frames and then used Cosmic shimmer flake and glitter glue around the edges to affix the flakes. I also used the glue to stamp the rose from a CE set by Lisa Horton -then added the flakes. the sentiment is embossed with CS brilliant sparkle embossing powder in copper.

I'm entering this into the challenge at Allsorts for Clean and simple cards.

Black and White plus one colour @ Penny Black & More

Our last challenge of 2016 at the Penny Black & More Challenge. The theme is Black and white plus one colour. I struggle with not colouring in too much on this type of card, so rather pleased with myself after creating my DT card. Although white glitter is on her hat the top of her coat so it is not too plain!
I added some of the houses from the Penny Black die set and little snowflakes.

I do hope to see you over at the challenge blog where as always we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and also my wonderful teamies makes to give you more inspiration.

White Christmas at CD Sunday

I've been having another look at the latest free cdrom with Crafters Companion Inspiration mag and used elements from Deck the Halls and Happy holidays to create this card. It's one layer with a mirrir card frame so nice and easy for posting, I hate it when they try and put it through the slot at the post office and it just sticks a little! up goes the postage charge.

I went over the gold bracket with a glitter pen and added some wink of stella to the snowflakes, but I can't capture it on camera.

I'm entering this into White Christmas at CD Sunday challenge.
