LIM week 121 - humour
I needed a male birthday card and was wondering what to do when the Less Is More challenge for today came up it solved my problem. I love Bugaboo stamps and they have some very humorous quotes with them. I decided to colour this fella in greys and just add the birthday touches in red to make it clear he's a bit of a grump!
The next card also uses a Bugaboo stamp and sentiment. I decided to give her a bit of a Marj Simpson hair colour, but I got carried away with the purples instead. I've added some glossy accents to her glasses and the candle flames. To break up the background I used a mask and inked it up and then rolled over it to give the subtle square effect.
I lost my voice completely on Wednesday afternoon at work. I tried to join a tele conference and no words came out my mouth! I went to the chemist who told me I needed Vocalzone but they had sold out. So I went to another chemist leaning in to the assistant so she could hear my faint whispering but I think she got the idea I was going to ask for something very personal. She looked so disappointed when she realised what I wanted LOL! Still not right now - no talking for me.........

I'd also like to enter this card into the Birthday challenge at Allsorts this week to celebrate their 4th birthday.

Less is More
Sorry to snigger about your voice loss but the chemist tale was really funny. Hope it comes back soon - mind you, that would be a dream come true for
Len if it happened to me :) He reckons my mouth is hinged to my eyelids - as soon as they're open I begin chattering.
Hope you're enjoying the long weekend!
Hugs, Di xx
