In the garden

This is a card I've made for a friend to give to her sister. I make a few cards for her sister as the brief is always "lots of glitter"!. So this time I stamped the background with a poppy from Inkylicious and embossed with red powder. The too a piece of acetate and backed it with a sticky sheet, using a poppy stencil, I stencilled onto it with red and green glitter for the poppies, removed the mask and then added shades of copper and brown glitter for the background. I topped it off with a stamp from PB which I coloured using markers and then spritzed with water before stamping. Adding some more glitter to this image using a glue pen and running the image through the bug with a Debbi Moore embossing shape. Next I used the new D-lites poppy die, cutting out in green for the leaves and then red card for the poppy heads and piecing together. Finally I cut two butterflies, one from red glitter paper and layered them up.
I'd like to enter this card into the challenge at Allsorts - in the garden and Stamping Sensations - summer blooms
