I've been to see the Queen.......
I've spent the weekend in London, with some spectacular lightening on Saturday evening. Yesterday we went to Buckingham Palace, but the Queen wasn't in! It was so funny, a Frenchman in front of me in the queue was asking would he see the Queen and the girl who was working there said, no she was in Scotland, "what about her husband" he said "no said the girl", "well, what about the baby" - honestly you couldn't make it up. I asked the girl if she got to meet the Queen at the end of the opening period and she said she didn't think so, but they do get to meet the curators who have been on TV, and she seemed quite pleased at that!
It was a bit of a nightmare finding the way in and getting in, as there was no signage, but the audio tour was fantastic. Because it is the 60th anniversary of the Coronation there is a special exhibition with the dresses etc worn on the day and samples of the original dress embroidery. So, I was in my element. At the end there is a pop up tearoom - I had this.......

Anyway onto the challenge at Less is More which this week is inspired by a Pinterest picture. I spend way too much time on Pinterest as it is! I couldn't wait to get back to enter and luckily I had today off to recover. I find that I have just about as many shoe stamps as I do shoes!!! My first is a stamp I got ages ago and has never seen ink. I used the background of the stamp to create the label too.
These shoe stamps are from the PB set Hello Gorgeous. I combined them with an new Anna Griffin embossing folder I have been waiting to use.
Lastly a paper pieced Hero art stamp. The sentiment is from another set of shoe stamps that I didn't get time to use. I'd also like toenter this card into the Divas by Design challenge -anything goes.

One of my trips before I die things, would love to go this year especially. I heard the catering is a bit expensive, but at least you have a photo to show you DID it. :)
