LIM week 140 - christmas white on white
I got my housework done early this morning and then had a lovely indulgent afternoon tea with a friend at The Lace Market Hotel - and very nice it was too, especially as I had a coupon for two for the price of one! So, onto my card for the white on white Christmas challenge on Less is More. I've used the memory box die country landscape and then a couple of embossing folders. Finally cutting a frame with two nesties. The sentiment is from the new Crafters Companion Snowman set. Following on from Jen using grey for her stamping I used a momento London fog inkpad.
Before I go I have to share what I still think is an outrageous overcharging experience I had early this week. Myself and two colleagues were away on business and dining in the hotel. We all decided on the cheeseboard for dessert. The amount of cheese was fantastic - a meager amount of celery some grapes and onion relish. There were about 6 biscuits, so as you can imagine we ran out of biscuits for our cheese. We were pondering asking for more biscuits when the Manager appeared and said "Oh ladies, I can see you need more biscuits, would you like some"? So we all thanked him and he returned with one plate with 6 biscuits on it and said "do you want anymore" - so being polite we said no it was fine. We made do with the biscuits and to be honest we were all full. The bill came and there was "fat fries £3.95" which none of us had ordered or had. So we queried the bill and were told that was the charge for the extra biscuits we had!!!! Needless to say we had the charge removed from the bill. That makes a single biscuit 65p..................
