LIM week 146 - use DP in a CAS way
I haven't played at Less Is More for a few weeks as I have been travelling a lot with work and been too tired too craft at the weekend. This weekend we went for a special treat - a stay at The Savoy Hotel in London. I won a red letter day experience and decided to spend it on a stay at The Savoy.
It was a truly memorable experience, even checking in was like something out of The Wedding Planner, with the guy discreetly asking for my reservation as soon as we walked through the door, by using his concealed earpiece! Then showing us around the hotel and then to our room, no waiting in a queue! We had afternoon tea in the Thames Foyer and then in the evening we went to see the Beatles musical "Let It Be" - just next door! which was a wonderful experience too. Sunday we went to Somerset House and then we went on for a tour of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel - where we were told there is a suite at £8,000 a night!!!!!! I was lucky enough to tour in 2004 before it was renovated, to see the difference was amazing.
Anyway, onto my card. I fell in love with the SU punch and bought the embossing folder and stamps too. For this card I used the embossing folder and punched from some SU Christmas papers. I mounted every other ornament on foam pads, so some are flat and some raised up. Adding some SU twine and a freebie stamped sentiment.
Edited to add I totally forgot I wanted to take this card to Pixies crafty snippets playground #99 as I used snippets for the punched shapes.
