Deco Drama at CD Sunday

I've not managed to join in with the CD Sunday challenges for some time, but this week with some free time and a challenge of Deco Drama, I am there right away. I decided to use the MCS Deco Follies cdrom by Nancy Watt, although those of you that know my passion for fashion can guess I had a few to choose from!

The card I made yesterday using free papers had these two designs on the reverse, so that decided the colour choice as I felt it was perfect for an art deco card. I've used a docrafts embossing folder and letterpress technique with verdigris embossing powder and then added some tiny dots of cosmic shimmer pva in bronze onto some of the raised detail. The corners from the top of the image which I cut away then fitted onto the corners of the card.
The finishing touch of the ribbon, which is a colour I don't normally have to hand, but a crafting friend had sent it me and it fitted perfectly.
