LIM week 172 - flowers

The theme on the Less is More challenge this week is flowers. I got this tattered lace Iris a few weeks ago (a bargain - honestly!) and thought I would try it out for this card. I made the background by inking through a stencil and the sentiment is from a set of hobbyart stamps. I have a x-stitch chart with these words from Emerson, I must have had it about 20 years and one day I will stitch it! I love those words.
I'm also making this my second entry for Simon Says - die crazy.

Hi Linby

A great card .. .. love how you have inked through the stencil for the background.

Fabby sentiment.

I have a cross stitch of a Victorian Dolls House which has been on the go for years and years. Haven't touched it in ages!!! :-(

Hope all is well with you.

Sorry I don't get to visit very often.

Love Jules xx
