LIM week 180 - adapt a fingerprint

When I saw the challenge on this week's Less is More was adapt a fingerprint (on a one layer card), I have to admit being stumped and not about to partake. Then I decided to have a look on Pinterest and found the inspiration for this card using Christmas lights, which I thought I could maybe manage without it looking too much like one of the Grandchildren had made it.
I used TH distress inks and my little finger to put lights along a line drawn with a pen. The sentiment is from a Crafters companion set and I thought it went with the rather jazzy card colours.
I then wondered what it would look like if I used my new Creative Expressions glitter pastes. I limited it to gold and red and this is the result.
Another CC sentiment from the same set and this time stamped in Versamark gold.

Well my fingertips now look like I spent the morning at the Police station LOL! So pleased I managed to make it a one layer too, and heartened that even our Chief Limette Chrissie forgot it was one layer to prove we can all make mistakes!

Such a cheery scene, great one layer card. I too now have inky fingers, my anti-bac wipes have helped! haha

Super idea that works so well. Not that yours looks like your grandchildren have been involved, but it sparked me into thinking that maybe it would be a great idea to use with children.

Brilliant Linby!
Doodling a string in that way is difficult to make look flowing and natural... great job!
Love both cards!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
