Get well @ CD Sunday

The challenge on CD Sunday this fortnight is "Get Well". I just got my free MCS CDrom from C&C Fairies for the year. I thought I would have a look what was on the cdrom for reference. The next thing I spied some lovely flowers and I started to make a bouquet with them. They started off in pink and white, but I then decided to try and "autumn" them and this is the result - finished off with some Crafters Companion acetate. So something a bit different from me as I'm not sure I've built a bouquet before! I used the phrase "feel better soon" as I think it can be for some much more than when someone is ill.
The last two weeks I have been working away from home and also had to travel on BHol Monday. So, as I could get C&C in the hotel I'm afraid I spoilt myself with some goodies! The acetate being one of them.
Then just as I was unpacking my case I was off again this time on leave with the OH to Bletchley Park - home of the codebreakers from WWII. Below is the actual mansion which I thought was all there was to it - how wrong I was, we spent five hours there and still didn't see it all and also got very tired feet!
It was so interesting, I definitely recommend it.

We stayed the night before in nearby Flitwick - a place I have often seen from a train but never been to.
Below is Flitwick Manor the staff were so friendly and the food superb. I didn't realise it was supposed to be haunted and we had our room (see below) was accessed from its own staircase and the bathroom was across the landing from the bedroom. Every time I went to the bathroom I kept expecting to see a ghost!

Wow that bouquet is fantastic. This brought back many many long forgotten memories. I stayed at the Manor in the 60's .....a lifetime ago. I remember the grounds seemed vast but It could just be distorted memory. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for sharing it with us at Cd Sunday. Wynn DT x
