Stencil, masks and embossing at Penny Black & More

It's time for our first challenge of 2015 at Penny Black & More and this month we would like to see you using stencils, masks and embossing on your cards. Please remember we also want to see some hand stamping too not digital please but you don't have to use a Penny Black Stamp to enter, any make will do.

For my DT card I've used PB40-236 Gardening Assistant. I first of all stamped her onto the card and then covered the image with gum glue to protect it. I then used alcohol inks with a mask to create the background with some acrylic for the cloud. I then removed the gum and left the main image uncoloured but did colour the flowers with promarkers. For the background I used a flonz butterfly stamp and sentiment. Finally I added a little die cut fence and embossed corner using a tattered lace embossing folder, which I rubbed alcohol ink over to raise the detail.

It would be lovely to see what you make this month - so please go over and share on the challenge blog and also see the wonderful inspiration from my teamies.
