LIM week 219 - one layer splatters

I just love old typewriters and so when I saw yet another set of stamps with one - yes, I just had to get them. This one and the sentiment is from a Just rite set. The first typewriter I used at work was a little like this! My splatters are from visible image - I felt better about them being stamped rather than my own splattering! To me this conjures up the time before the digital age when we still had typewriters and ink wells and the accidents that could happen with them.

I stamped the sentiment just above the typewriter and then drew a rectangle so that it looks like a piece of paper coming out of the typewriter, if it wasn't one layer week I would have used an actual piece of paper.
I'm entering this into the challenge at Less is More for one layer splatters.

What a super card, I love the image and thought the sheet of paper was part of it! Your choice of card works perfectly with it too, the big deckle adds to the vintage look.

The ceiling in my junior school classroom had a few marks a bit like this Lynne, but it was the boys who flicked up bits of blotting paper soaked in ink!
Great card... very nostalgic!
Thanks so much
