June Rudolph day

It's rolled around again - the time for Rudolph day as hosted by Mo on her blog. I really thought I was going to be ready this month - but no I wasn't! I decided to dig out this Debbi Moore cdrom black and white Christmas and intended on printing one of the images, a printer error meant I printed the whole sheet, and I decided to go with it and just add some glitter and a couple of die cuts to make a simple card this time.
I do know that I am way behind on having cards ready for Christmas, so will need to step up my efforts.

What doesn't help is searching for something that was on my desk for soooo long, decided in the last tidy up it could go somewhere safe.......... still searching........

Yesterday I went to the Imperial War Museum with a friend to see the Fashion on the Ration exhibition. Unfortunately you couldn't take photos and there were no postcards of some of the mend and make do things that I saw and would love to recreate. I would really recommend the exhibition though.

I love the snowy scenes that you have used on this lovely card. I like the touches of sparkle you added too.

A gorgeous card, Lynn! Beautiful images and great layout. I love it! That exhibition sounds wonderful and right up your street!

Very dramatic in the black & white (your scenes reminded me of that grand Stampendous stamp that Maureen has used). Your printer's mistake resulted in a most stunning display of vintage winter scenes, that just make me feel cold all over. (And that's hard to do, with the 100F degree weather we've had lately). Would have loved to have seen the exhibits you mentioned. TFS & Happy wkend.

Stunning black and white collage card! I lose things on my desk and so clean it up to organize myself and lose them all over again as I don't remember where I reorganized them too!

Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Day Challenge.

What lovely wintry scenes, they look really great used all together like that.
The exhibition sounds very interesting, I might go and see it. my Mum has a collection of old Needlewoman and Needlecraft and Stitchcraft magazines from the 1940s, so during and just after the war, where you can see the effects of rationing on the patterns they included. The ads are really interesting as they give the price AND the points value of everything.
