Nail varnish sunset - LIM week 227

I've wanted to have a go at marbling for a while now, but the kits are expensive, and I know it will be a fad. So when I saw the nail varnish technique I decided to give it a go, but with my Leighton Denny nail varnish costing £11 a bottle it wasn't a viable option long term. The paper I made hasn't made it onto a card yet - but it will.
So, I went to a Macmillan coffee morning the other week and they were selling five nail varnishes for £3 - so when I saw the sunset challenge on Less is More - I decided to give the technique another go and this is the result. I'm rather pleased with it. The quotation was one I found going through my stash and by chance fitted, I used a MS butterfly punch using an off cut from the paper I created.

For advice on the technique here is a link to some much better work than mine. Of course you can use it to actually marble your nails too! - not tried that yet...........
