LIM week 231 red white and blue

When I went to the workshop with Ali Reeve the other week we did vaseline resist, I was keen to try at home and so was having a play with one of her union jack stencils. Little did I know that Less is More would then have a red, white and blue theme this week, so it fitted perfectly. I decided to put this little guard on it, which is from a card that was in a London hotel room. I have several from when I used to stay there with work, each with three little images on and far too nice to throw away! I thought he fitted this card perfectly and I then added this SU sentiment.

I also got a union jack die a few months ago and had been playing around with it but my efforts hadn't made it onto a card. So this was what I came up with - again an SU sentiment and some ribbon that I have been hoarding.

I'm also entering at ATCAS as the theme there is Patriotic.

Oh... that "everything stops for tea" had me laughing out loud. How fabulous is that??!! Makes my English, tea-loving heart happy! They are both fabulous cards. Such great takes on the challenge. So glad you joined us at Addicted to CAS this week
