LIM week 233 - Life's a beach!

I had sitting on my desk an embossing folder by Crafters Companion of a row of beach huts, so when I saw the challenge at Less is More was "Life's a beach" I thought this is meant to be! You can't actually see the beach huts too well, they are at the bottom of the card - here's a close up...
I used a Sheena Douglass stencil to create my scene with TH inks and added a few birds and sentiment from an Inkylicious stamp set. My idea being that the "path" is meant to look like the rivlets( SP?) you get on beaches.

I also have some images from a Debbi Moore shabby chic Seaside cdrom so I made this card and also added a corner stamp from Phill Martin. I've made another card too using this cdrom for CD Sunday - but you will have to wait until another post for that one.

Oooh! Someone is a busy bee - 2 fantastic cards, love the elegant scene of the first one but then the classic bucket and spades with the pier backdrop are brilliant in the second. Fabulous colouring and thanks so much for sharing and taking part.

Ooh Linby these are both fab - didn't realise it was a path, it makes a perfect rivulet across the sand. Fab sentiment stamp on the second card too.
Thanks so much for joining us
