August Rudolph Day

Oh wow - August Rudolph Day the year is really passing by. For my card this month I created a glitter background using a stencil. First I took an adhesive sheet and placing the grid stencil over it I rubbed in the red glitter, then I removed it and rubbed in the green glitter where the lines had been left from the stencil. The tree is from Anna Griffin sticker set, the Snowman and snowdog dies are Crafters companion and I sprayed the snowman with Crafters Companion glitter spray. This is the inside using a little strip I had left over from another project.

Such a cute card and all that glitter just shouts Christmas! Your stencilling reminds me of the old lace glittering technique that was popular many years ago, must try to refresh my memory on how it was done. I seem to remember it involved carpet tape, of all things!

Christmas and sparkle go together so well, a great card.
