Summer Flowers at Penny Black & More August challenge

This month over on Penny Black & More challenge we would like to see your summer flowers. There are lots of lovely prizes as usual and a chance to be a GDT. You can use any stamp you like but we don't allow digis.

For my DT card I've used PB4308K Field of Poppies. I decided rather than colour the image this time I would use some glossy card and apply some TH distress inks with a vaseline resist over the top using a stencil for the bokeh effect. I added PB3942F Live Life for the sentiment. I then simply rounded two of the corners and mounted onto a cream card base.

Thanks for looking and I hope to see you at Penny Black & More this month.

Love the blended inking Linda. I really like this technique the flowers look lovely with the different shades of ink behind them.

your bokeh is fabulous!! the colours are so summery. i still haven't tried it on glossy paper; my 'must try one day' list is too long and sometimes outside my comfort zone. :)
Oh! this is beautiful, love the colour combo
