LIM and meeting Scrappy Mo
Well I am recently back from a trip to Western Canada - but more about that in a moment. First my card for Less is More challenge this week. The theme is Wishing - and due to jet lag I am glad it is one layer! I used Papertrey Vintage Picnic set and coloured the apples with promarkers, adding a touch of glossy accents to the apples to make them nice and shiny.
So who do we know who lives in Canada? - Scrappy Mo of course - of Rudolph Day fame, and here I am with her when we visited her house.
This lovely lady has been helping me and our friends for the past few months with recommendations of where to stay and eat whilst visiting her country. To say she has gone the extra mile is an understatement - we couldn't have done it without you Mo! So, to finally meet up on our last day of the holiday was a great experience and Mo and her husband where wonderful hosts. We also got to go craft shopping - so new goodies to play with and showcase soon.
Here are a few selected pictures of the trip.
We began in Vancouver and this baby Elk was on the beach-just magical to see.
A cement factory that turned their towers into an art work on Granville Island. We loved the market here but I forgot to take any photos as I was so taken by all the wonderful produce.
The Gas clock in Gas town - Vancouver.
Then we headed for Jasper via Kamloops. This is Pryamid mountain.
.and the coldest place we visited at 1 degree - Lake Moraine.

Silver birches around Lake Pryamid.
Lake Peyto
Then onto Banff via the Icefields Parkway
On our travels we saw this elk and this is the photo I took with it safely behind the barrier. I returned to the car.
Then my friend got out the car and as everyone was running away she took this photo.
Wildlife at Lake Louise
Finally Kelowna and our hotel - back warmth at 20 degrees
