Less is More Challenge. When I saw the challenge this week was "jewel colours" I was set to go down a completely different route. But then I saw the piece of card I had been playing with and felt this was more suited.
I embossed red card using a Creative Expressions folder and then "grouted" it with sparkle paste. Then when it was dry I rubbed over the whole surface with a versamark pad and embossed with clear powder. This I think gives the card a real jewel like quality - but not quite so apparent in the photo (I did try!). I then cut the card using the spellbinders babuble set and used a micron pen to draw the strings holding the baubles.
The sentiment is from a Mama Elephant set that I treated myself to on my recent Canadian trip.
Baubles are so popular, can anyone else remember the late 60s early 70s when getting a "bauble" card meant the person probably didn't like you very much, and had sent you the worst card in the box!
