Wild flowers @ CD Sunday
I'm getting ahead of the game here with a Mother's Day card - but once I put all the elements together I realised it would be perfect for my MIL this year.
I've used The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady cdrom by Crafters Companion. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this cdrom, as I always love all the artwork, but when it comes to making a card none of it is really what I want to use.
I put the elements into MCS software and printed the main backing paper out and the bottom ribbon separately. The bow originally had a bird on the ribbon and I substituted the same daisy image and also imposed the wording on the main image. The ribbon looks very realistic - but it's printed!
Finished with tiny Tattered Lace butterflies (can you spot them?) a spellbinders hedgehog and sentiment die. The stamps are from a Paula Pascale set.
Thanks for looking, I'm entering this card into the CD Sunday challenge which is for Wild flowers. I'm also popping over to the snippets playground with it as the dies were cutting using snippets.

I have just bought my first CD and to be honest, glad I had it on sale. Still have to venture to make anything with it, love the images, but I think I'll be the same as you " I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this cdrom, as I always love all the artwork, but when it comes to making a card none of it is really what I want to use."
