All Creatures Great and Small @ CDSunday

For my card today I've mixed things up a little by using a cdrom image with a painted background. I love mixing different mediums and am pleased with how this turned out. The image is from Legend of the Unicorns by Debbi Moore and the sentiment is computer generated.

I used aqua tints to make the background and added a little PB butterfly.

Sarn led me astray to get some new glitter pens - I must say they are fab and I couldn't wait to use them. I went around the image with the purple one and then around the wording also with silver. Final touch is some ribbon which was part of a set from £1 shop - a real bargain.

I'm entering this into the All Creatures Great and Small challenge over at CD Sunday.

A fabulous card Linby. I love unicorns and have used them myself on cards in the past but none so dramatic as yours. I am also now resisting the sparkle pens - you are naughty.
Thank you for sharing this with us at Cd Sunday.

I love this. The printed image and your handmade background work together beautifully, and I think the colours that you've used blend perfectly with the image :)x

You have been making some gorgeous backgrounds lately. This card is so beautiful. Little Miss C loves horses and the story of unicorns. I will show her this lovely card.
