Feature a Creature at Penny Black & More

Welcome to the new challenge at Penny Black & More where this time we would like you to "Feature a Creature".

I've wanted this PB Smile all day set ever since I saw some of PB DT teamies using it and so this seemed like the perfect excuse to get it!

For my DT card I created a brusho background my tearing up a piece of A4 paper and then removing each section at a time and applying the brushos and water. This gives a more controlled look over the colours than you would normally get.

I used a tree stencil over the background and then stamped my little fox. I coloured him with promarkers and a white TH distress marker which covered the colour of the brushos but also gave some markings to him which I thought looked good. I cut a circle in the background and then off set it over a Tattered Lace trellis die. Finally I put some of the "waste" from die back into the trellis frame.

Thanks for looking and I hope to see you at the challenge this month. As always there are fantastic prizes on offer from our sponsors and also the chance to be a GDT if you use a PB image. Just remember to make stamping the focal point of your card please and no digis.

This turned out beautifully Lynn. Love the Brusho's background and what a way to use up some of the die's "waste". Love the little fox, you colored him beautifully!
