LIM week 268 - What's outside your window?

I got a new die - the poloraid one. I've wanted it for ages but couldn't justify the cost - then I saw it in a sale......

I used inkylicious stamps to create my scene and some TH distress inks. I actually created the scene on the second card first. Had a couple of attempts and it just wasn't lining up so instead I took one of my aqua paint backgrounds and stamped in black to create the first card. Then it seemed a shame to waste this little scene so I used corners from a TL dieset and Clarity letter stamps to make the card.

These cards are for the Less is More challenge which this week is What's outside your window. I'm also going into the Snippets playground as all my pieces of card are snippets from other makes.

Don't forget to check out my giveaway here for Ally Pally tickets courtesy of Creative Expressions.

Beautiful, Linby! Both cards are gorgeous, though I especially love the Polaroid one. Jealous that you now have the die - I still cut them by hand (very laborious!) so you might have tempted me into investing. You've been an enabler! Fantastic LIM entry x

Both are lovely and tranquil Lynn. I am curious about this die so am off to google it. See you in the playhouse, I heard a rumor that Parsnip is toasting hot cross buns, should go down well with a drop of hooch.

Wonderful card Lynn - you really do make such wonderful scenes. And you seem to have kicked off more interest in the Polaroid dies too :) Do let me know how you eventually did cut it :)

Re. Cadbury's Creme eggs - to be honest I'm not a huge fan - aren't they now made in the USA? Certainly not like they used to be. I do love the little sugar shell coated ones though and there are lots of instructions on YouTube on how to make a similar idea to the throne boxes (without the throne piece and less hassle in fact) and then pop a little cello packet of sugar coated eggs behind the egg shaped window.

They are both lovely, I have definitely got some ideas from these. Thanks. I maybe being naive here but couldn't you do the cutting with a simple rectangle and square dies?

You are absolutely right Lynn you could but this die makes it so much easier, but that is why I waited for it to be on sale. Thanks for all your lovely comments on my cards.
