Creative Expressions Saturday - Best Wishes

This week I've used the Australian background die to make a simple frame for my card. The background is the Pinpoint roses embossing folder with the new Old Gold texture paste over the top.

Then I stamped the Retro roses stamp embossing in  brilliant sparkle embossing power White gold and copper powder. I cut out the centre  of the stamp so that the background could be seen and put dots of old gold cosmic shimmer around the aperture. I then cut a circle from another piece of pinpoint roses embossed card and rubbed over the Old Gold gilding wax stamped and embossed the petite sentiment onto another circle and then mounted up with foam tape.

Finally I rubbed a little of the old gold gilding wax over the roses on the stamped image.

You can't really appreciate the sparkle in my photo, so I tried to take a closer view. The card colour is truer to real life in the image above, in order to show the sparkle I have had to lighten the image and this has made the card stock look paler than it is.
