LIM #296 Turquoise and lilac

This is my entry for the Less is More challenge of Turquoise and lilac this week. I was a bit stumped over what to do but pleased with this as it also helps towards my Christmas card makes.

I just got this afternoon a MISTI and had to try it, why did I not believe everyone and get one sooner? It is just brilliant, especially with silhouette stamps as you can keep applying the ink to get a lovely deep colour. I then used ink dusters to add the shading.

You got a Misti? What fun. Sorry, I had to tease! I bet you truly are delighted Lynn and that now you have it you'll have loads of fun and think it really was worth the long, very long, wait for delivery!

Enjoy - this card is a real beauty!! As you say, being able to keep inking and stamping for the perfect silhouette is a wonderful feature of your new friend. So happy for you.

Hugs

What a beautiful scene. I would not have thought to use these colors for the sky, but they are just amazing! Thanks for sharing at Less is More.

Lovely cool colours work so well with the winter scene Lynn. Never really thought about a Misti and how well it works with silhouette stamps as some don't stamp as well as we might like. Also would make sense with my current added dexterity issues. I wonder does it work with wood mounted as well as cling etc., (I'm thinking aloud here).

There's something so peaceful about winter scenes with deer silhouettes, I love them for Christmas cards. Great use of our challenge colours here. So pleased you got a Misti, I didn't think I was going to need one at first but now that I have it I reach for it all the time!
Thanks for sharing with us.
