Enjoy tea/coffee @ CD Sunday challenge

When I saw the challenge on CD Sunday was "enjoy tea/coffee" I knew I wanted to use this stamp but needed to combine it with something from a CDrom.

I used the MCS Deco follies cdrom for the background and imposed one of the frames from the same cdrom over the top using MCS - hoping my stamp would fit in the centre! It did but I am not sure it works as well as I hoped. To begin with the ladies looked like they had sleeve tattoos! very on trend I know but I decided to use a TH white distress pen to cover them up and then go over with a tea rose promarker, using promarkers to colour the rest of the image too. I left the legs as I thought they didn't look too bad. Finally a stamped sentiment along the bottom of the base card.

It's That Stamp again! You and I both seem to have a love hate relationship with it. I think it looks great here - the lacy pattern appears to be superimposed on the ladies as if you were snooping on them through lace curtains of the house across the road!
Thanks for sharing with us at CD Sundays

Lovely card, I like the way the stamp on the background gives the impression you are looking at them through a window with net curtains, it's very now card with a very different look to Art Deco
I like it.

No lace curtain effect here! To me the frame suggests a window and the pattern makes me think of a stained glass window. Either way it's a lovely card and perfect for the CD Sunday theme.

Great idea to create a fancy border around the image. Think I should do this more often. Love the stamped image too. An interesting creation. Thank you for sharing it with us at CD Sunday. Wynn DT
