Iris folding

I found a kit with these Iris folding cards - I had forgotten all about it. I decided to get them made up and it was so relaxing just following the patterns.

I'm entering them into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is Anything goes.

After a reminder I remembered it is the start of the new NBUS challenge at Darnell's blog. So I am going over there to enter. I had it in my head that it was for Boo-Boo makes only - but Darnell has illustrated that is isn't, with her perfectly easy three legged stool analogy!

Oh these are lovely! And you've reminded me of an NBUS Iris folding kit I have somewhere that would be PERFECT for Darnell's NBUS challenge. I was feeling all uninspired and I think you've just lit something up in me!

These are amazing Lynn. I think I tried Iris folding before following a splitcoast stampers challenge years ago but now I have no idea anymore how it works.
Gosh a blast from the past reminds how wonderful iris folding actually is, these are just Wonderful.

This is a perfect example of NBUS, Linby! Actually it is several perfect and beautiful examples! This is something I've never tried, but I'm intrigued that you find it relaxing ... hmmmm. That sailboat pattern is especially awesome! Thank you so much for joining in with my NBUS Challenge #11!! Hugs, Darnell

Your cards are lovely. I have to confess though that I wouldn't find it relaxing! I've only tried it once and my card was not a success, very lumpy round the back.

Wow! you've got some wonderful fold designs with these cards. I always mess up one little part, and have to tear about 3 rows back, completely out to fix it. (only took 1 class, made a few right after. Got lots of cut up strips!) Your colors look so pretty in the designs, and well done, for using up a NBUS. Just beautiful cards! TFS
