These are a few of my favourite things

I've been meaning to do poppies using Yupo paper and red ink for ages and seeing something in blogland yesterday made me get on with it.

I've used a tonic fashion stamp onto Yupo paper and then used red ink to drop onto the paper to create poppies, adding some black pearl drops for the centres. I sprtized the background with TH ink and then mounted onto a piece of red card with a border cut into it from CE Australian background die.

I'm entering this into the Fashionable Stamping challenge - I've taken the line "A few of my favourite things" as my inspiration. They are fashion, poppies, the CE die and SU sentiment.

What a gorgeous card Lynn. I love Poppies and this card has them in abundance! I really like all the red too, it looks so dramatic. Thank you for sharing this with us at Fashionable Stamping Challenges. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

What an amazing card. I have never seen this technique before and I absolutely love the idea of dropping the ink to make the poppies. What inks are you using please? (I have seen alcohol inks on yuppo??)...Thank you for the amazing inspiration and sharing this stunner! x

Oh my Lynne this is just glorious, I've not tried Yupo paper but can be persuaded seeing how beautiful your card looks and amazed how the Poppies have formed. Thanks so much for joining in at Fashionable Stamping Challenges Favourite Things theme.
