mid month reminder for Penny Black & More challenge

Time to remind you of our challenge over at Penny Black & More with my DT for the current photo inspiration challenge. Here's the photo we would like you to take your inspiration from, it doesn't have to be flowers, it could just be the colours. However, we do need to see stamping as the focal point of your card and no digis please.

I've combined two PB stamps for my card - here they are in their usual format.

I was aiming for a Gainsborough lady look - hopefully I achieved something similar. I stamped only the bouquet the hedgie is holding and then stamped again a few times to give me some extra poppies to play with. I've made a double ribbon with some polka dot ribbon that matched the PB paper pad and then added a little red ribbon over the top.

Hope to see you over on the challenge and of course my lovely teamies have fab makes to inspire you mid month too.

You've made such a sweet card by combining those 2 stamps! I love all those red flowers with a touch of purple - so cute!

I'm a little late arriving Lynn, doesn't seem enough hours in the day right now. Adore your creation, the vivid colour of the Poppies works so well with the soft lilac of the images dress.

What a fun idea to combine the two stamps and those pretty flowers seem like they are just part of the gorgeous girly stamp!

How creative to use the two stamps together and to use only the flowers from the hedgie one.....vibrant colours and fabulous layout with a touch of Gainsborough, gorgeous and eye catching x
Love the combination of the 2 stamps, and the beautiful colouring, a Beautiful card.
