mid month reminder for Anything goes at Penny Black & More

Here to give you a little reminder of our Anything Goes challenge at Penny Black & More at the moment. The theme is anything goes, but we still need to see stamping as the focal point of your work please.

Before I go through how I made my DT card a reminder about the prizes this month:-

We have a different prize this month the choice of Penny Black stamps or a Tattered lace baby blue die cutting machine. Normally we put all the entries into the draw but this month we are going to ask you to let us know which prize you prefer, this is because the Penny Black stamps are all wood mounted and we know that presents storage problems for some people. So we are asking all entrants this month to leave us a comment to tell us if they prefer the stamps or the die cutting machine...........we will only enter the people who have commented into the draw as we would not want to send these lovely stamps to someone who would not use them.

For my DT card I used PB 40-501 on the lake and PB2695J Dance sing love. I stamped the main image with the Misti several times using different coloured inks and then washed over with aquatints. I then embossed the sentiment over the top. I created a backing paper by using vellum dipped into aquatints from my glass mat and swirled around. I then added part of a Memory box tree die cut from CE shimmer cardstock. Finally I drew three little flying birds to balance the design.

Beautiful card Lynn, the birds are perfect touch!
Just got the same stamp, haven't tried yet;-))m
I love this card Lynn. The stamped trees and die cut work so well together and I really like the cityscape in the background, it gives the scene great perspective, superb colours too. Wishing you a happy and colourful week, crafty hugs, Sandra x

Those shades of blue really draw you into the scene Lynn, super stamping and of course my favourite PB sentiment.
